The Beginning

Before Afox existed, there was manufacturing.

In 1992, Anil Pipavat and Bhavesh Pipavat entered the trouser business through job work, producing trousers for established brands across India. What started with a single machine slowly grew through years of consistency, discipline, and learning the craft from the ground up.

The work wasn’t glamorous. It was long production days, repeated quality checks, fixing fits, understanding fabrics, and making sure every pair leaving the floor was worth wearing.

Over time, the machines increased. So did the orders.

They were manufacturing trousers for companies across the country, handling everything from cutting and construction to finishing and quality control. The labels carried their name, but the work behind every trouser was deeply personal.

That’s how you truly learn the craft. Not from the outside. From years spent inside every seam, every fit issue, and every production run.

The Expansion

Knowing enough to build something of their own
By the mid 2000s, the industry had started shifting. Many of the companies they worked with began setting up their own manufacturing units.

But Anil and Bhavesh weren’t starting over.

They already had what mattered most. Over fifteen years of experience understanding what actually makes a trouser good. The fit. The finish. The fabric. The consistency. The details customers may never describe perfectly, but always feel when they wear something well made.

So in 2007, they built something of their own.

Afox Trouser and Beyond started as a wholesale distribution business built entirely on manufacturing conviction. No flagship stores. No heavy advertising. Just product that retailers trusted and customers kept coming back for.

Over the years, Afox expanded across 50+ cities and multiple states.

And since then, more than 70 lakh trousers have made their way into wardrobes across India.
